Local Roots, Loyal Customers In 1956, when moonlighting was a common practice among policemen who needed a little extra cash to support their families, Livingston Police Officers Henry Small and Fred Rudin started S & R Electrical Services LLC, in their off-hours.
They quickly built a team of fellow policemen working with them part-time.
The business grew nicely over the years, with Henry's two sons, Hank and Allan, helping out during summers and school vacations.
