Started in 1998 with one employee with a vision to be an elite electrical contractor in Virginia, Creative Electrical Contractors, Inc. strives for excellence while remaining focused on our customers' needs. Having since grown into North Carolina and Maryland, CEC is a full-service electrical contractor committed to maintaining that vision. One of our greatest accomplishments is that the clients who believed in us from the beginning are our strongest clients today.
Even with our accelerated growth, we have remained a company that can be trusted to perform quality installations. Because we have grown to be a contractor of choice, a large percentage of our work today is negotiated, in sharp contrast to our earlier years. This is a direct result of our ability to perform on very difficult projects. We find ourselves at our best on projects that other contractors find too complex or that are thought to have "unattainable" schedules.
We will continue to grow this company through solid leadership, great employees, and a group of supporting clients that is second to none.

Creative Electrical Contractors, Inc. takes safety very seriously.
We conduct weekly safety meetings on each of our job sites to discuss safety issues relevant to that project, and also to review safety issues that have arisen on other projects.
Corporate safety meetings are also conducted in our office six times a year, with all of our management personnel including job superintendents, job foremen, and prospective foremen, required to attend.
For these meetings, representatives from our insurance company are present to reinforce ways to prevent accidents from happening and to participate in open floor discussions about safety issues to close each meeting.

Scheduling a project can be very easy or it can be quite complicated.
Duration of tasks and scheduling with other trades while meeting our contractual obligations can be difficult at times, therefore we start a project by doing a brief synopsis of everything involved.
An understanding of the construction process is crucial to build a schedule to meet these obligations.
At CEC, we always try to leave a little "float" in our schedules for unforeseen or unexpected problems that can arise during the construction process.
