I left a review a few years ago and it just vanished. I highly recommend this company. Craig has done may jobs in my home over the years. Installed fans, under cabinet lighting, put in lighting where there wasn't any and moved several outlets. They are very clean and do not leave a mess behind, they show up when they say they will. I can not say enough about this company. They are fantastic.

I've had Craig do several small projects including a main panel repair. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and his pricing was very fair. I'm rather familiar with residential wiring and his work was very professional.
As with all the trades in Reno, things are really busy, yet he is able to squeeze you in if you have an emergency. I highly recommend DC!

We hired them to replace our current electrical panel and install a new 200amp panel. We have nothing but positive things to say about their service. They were polite, easy to deal with and got the job done right. Not only that they went above and beyond. My husband was able to ask them a few simple questions about wiring inside the house so we could fix the outlets. Also, my husband told the workers that he would be heading to Home Depot to pick up an electrical box. One of them offered to pick it up for us because they already had someone at the store. I find that lately customer service is lacking because construction companies don't need more business but this company was amazing. Their customer service is spot on. We highly recommend them and will be using them again when we are needing electrical work on the addition to our house.

I have had several things done by Craig at DC and always enjoy working with him. I have even recommended him to friends, which we all know is risky business (what if they hate him? Well, not gonna happen with DC Electric!)

They showed up when they said they would; they cleaned up after themselves; they got everything right the first time; and always pleasant and honest!! Cannot ask for more than that!

Called for help with a fixture that would not turn on - we had installed a new one and did everything we could. Called them and he came the next day. Very nice and it took him 2 minutes to diagnose the problem and replace an incorrectly installed switch (by previous home owner).
Spend a total of 12 minutes doing repair. I felt a little dumb but HE is the expert.
He had given me a quote before he arrived for the call - so I knew the price ahead of time.
When you call him, ask for his advice of things you can do on your own - he will help as much as he can but again, for safety, pay the price for the expert - not just a handyman.

I replaced a GFI outlet in my home, and it wouldn't work. I am fairly handy and take care of things myself if I can, but I have learned my lesson with electrical. I do not enjoy shocking the living hell out of myself and I don't want to burn my house down, so if my rudimentary attempts don't work when it comes to electrical, I call a professional. I didn't use Yelp, but I looked up electricians in my area via a web search. I called DC Electrical and I spoke with Craig (I believe) who tried to talk me through checking the outlet in case it was something small, so I wouldn't have to spend the money for him to come out. Since electrical is not one of my strongest suits, I wanted him to come out and fix it and we also wanted some estimates for other projects. Craig tried to save me the money, but I wasn't having it.

Came out the next day and it took him 2 minutes to repair it, which happened to be exactly the problem that he told me it could be on the phone. I received an appointment reminder by email and the invoice by email, and then used PayPal so payment was quick and easy. Even got a military discount. All in all, I received good service from this company.
