Bruce began his electrical career in 1973 with LG&E after a stint in the USMC. After 34 years he retired from LG&E after working in the power plant as a generator operator, sub-station maintenance working on high voltage lines and equipment and to the Engineering Department designing electric circuits and security lighting. Bruce has held the rank of Sergeant/EMT in the PRP Fire Department and firefighter/EMT in the Shelby County Fire Department.
Also, he is a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the president of his neighborhood. In 2007, he began working in the electrical contracting business and currently holds electrician, master electrician, and contractor licenses.
