Steve Salyer Electric started in 1991 as a result of an announcement by the U.S. Government proclaiming the closure of the Newark Air Force Base.
Not knowing where I would be working after the closure, and having had the desire to own my own company from the time I was 12 years old.
I started taking jobs for friends and acquaintances which could be done after work and on weekends.
This very quickly turned into a very big animal, and within a year I found myself working more than 40 hours after work and on weekends.
